The development of oil & gas storage and transportation technology in China

As one of the important links in the energy guarantee system, oil & gas storage and transportation plays a very important role in nationaleconomical construction. With the socioeconomic development and the implementation of national oil and gas resource strategies, the construction of oil & gas storage and transport facilities will enter a new era of great development. This paper introduces the development progress in oil & gas storage and transportation industry in China through reviewing the historical background and current situation of storage & transportation of crude oil, refined oil and natural gas. Combined with China’s current situation, it summarizes the recent years’ achievements in the field in technology and management in China, and prospects the future development trend and vision of oil & gas storage and transportation technology in China.
