植物基因组学与种质资源新基因发掘

种质资源是基因的载体,如何从种质资源中发掘出新的目标基因是21世纪植物育种所面临的最大挑战之一。近年来,随着植物基因组学的迅猛发展,新的基因发掘方法和技术不断涌现,新基因发掘也产生了各种新的思路和策略。笔者在回顾基因发掘历史的基础上,对中国的新基因发掘现状和问题进行了分析,并针对各种基因发掘方法和策略进行了评述,提出了开展新基因发掘的发展方向。

Plant Genomics and Gene Discovery in Germplasm Resources

Germplasm resources are vehicles carrying various genes. How to discover favorable genes from germplasm has become one of the greatest challenges in plant breeding in the 21st century. In recent years, new methods and techniques of gene discovery have emerged with the rapid development of plant genomics, and also new strategies in the process of gene discovery have been proposed. Based on the retrospect of the development of gene discovery in international community, the present paper analyzes the current status and problems of gene discovery in China and reviews the methods and strategies of gene discovery in germplasm resources. The trends and directions of gene discovery are also put forward.
