新型A#-2细胞质高粱杂交种晋杂12号选育及利用研究

Development and Commercial Cultivation of A2 Cytoplasmic Sorghum Hybrid Jinza 12

With non-milo cytoplasmic male sterile line A,V. A and restorer line 1383- 2,we have developed the first commercial sorghum hybrid Jinza 12 in China. The Jinza 12 is superior to the control hybrid Jinza 4 in yielding ability,drought tolerance, disease and pest insect resistances and low temperature tolerance. The hybrid Jinza 12 has a good adaptability to different ecological conditions and is widely cultivated in many sorghum growing regions such as Shanxi, Sichuan, Xingjiang, Gansu and Anhui provinces.
