Abstract:An embryogenic suspension culture was established by culturing calli derived from immature embryos of wheat in M9 medium which was then used for optimization of different factors of particle bombardment affecting transient expression of GUS gene. The JQ 700 high velocity particle gun and the plasmid pBI121 were used in this study. The factors influencing the transient expression of GUS gene are optimized.
