中国风景名胜区

<正> 中国风景名胜区系统,包括天然和人文两类不同的风景旅游资源,也包括天然和人文两类不同的景观。由于中国有五千年以上的历史文化,所以自然景观常常与人文景观互相渗透,交相辉映。当然另外也还有大量纯粹属于原始自然状态的自然保护区,如湖北的神农架、长白山天池、四川卧龙熊猫保护区等等。同样,另外也有不少类型,是属于完全由人工建造起来的历史名胜区,如甘肃敦煌的莫高窟,北京八达岭长城和西安古都等等。但是多数风景名胜区是天然景观与人文景观相结合的。

SCENIC AREAS AND SITES OF HISTOORIC INTEREST OF CHINA

The natural resources and cultural resources are two different kinds of resources for recreation and tour The natural resources contain natural scenic areas and natural monuments.The scenic seashores,scenic lakeshores,scenic riverways,scenic mountainous areas,waterfalls,stone forests,...are natural scenic resources; and the volcanoes,glaciers,hotsprings,canyons,virgin forests,relic species of wildlife and plants,...are natural monuments.The cultural resources contain archaeological relics,historic cities and villages,histric constructions and architectures,historic palaces and tombs,historic monuments,revolutionary memorials and historic battlefields.China has vast land of 9.6 million square kilometres and with immense number of natural scenic wonders and valuable natural monuments.More than 50 fraternal nationalities ave lived and worked generation after generation on this vast land and have created a 5,000-year-old history with abundant cultural resonrces.Therefore,the Chinese scenic areas,in general,being both rich in natural resources and cultural resources,are different from the National parks of America,Canada and Australia.In this paper the author according to the natural resources and cultural resources classified Chinese Scenic Areas and Sites of Historic Interest into eight types:1.Scenic Mountainous Area 2.Scenic Lakeshore 3.Scenic Riverway4.Scenic Seashore5.Virgin Forest6.Stone Forest and Waterfall7.Site of Historic Intelest8.Revolutionary Memorial Area
