闽南沿海沙质地区希蒙得木的引种

引种试验表明:希蒙得木在闽南沿海温暖潮湿的沙质地区不论原种或子代都生长良好、能自然开花结果,物候期及生长规律表达稳定,种子含油量及品质与原产地基本一致,引种试验成功;但由于病虫害等原因,希蒙得木在引种点无人为管理的情况下无法自然生存。沙地良好的通透性和林地良好的排水性是希蒙得木能承受当地高达1325mm年降雨量的主要原因,也是希蒙得木在闽南沿海沙质地区引种成功的主导因子;希蒙得木在引种点的耐旱性不强,旱季浇水有助于植株生长。

Introduction of Simmondisa chinensis in Coastal Sandy Area of South Fujian

Sirnrnondsia chinensis was introduced to the warm and humid sandy site in the southern coast in Fujian Province. The experimental result show that S. chinensis grows well and can flower and produce seeds naturally. The phenophase, growth regularity as well as the oil content and quality of seeds of S. chinensis in the introduction area are basically the same as those of S. chinensis in the original producing area, which indicates that the introduction is successful. However, it can not survive well under the conditions without management due to the serious insect and disease damage. The main reasons that S. chinensis can stand the rainfall as high as 1 325 mm are the better permeability of sandy soil and the better draining ability of forest land, which are also the leading factors for the success or failure of introduction in sandy area of the southern coast in Fujian Province. The drought resistance of S. chinensis is weak; therefore, irrigation is helpful to the plant growth during dry seasons.
