丹顶鹤骨骼系统初步研究

丹顶鹅Grus japonensis(M(?)ller)]椎式为C_(18) T_9(L+S+C_y)_(14-15)C_(y7)。颈椎前端两侧的横突呈细针状,向后伸达椎体后端。颈椎两侧和胸椎背侧有不规则的骨化肌腱前后连结。胸椎之间愈合程度低。8对肋骨参与胸廓,最后一对肋骨后缘附有一对不连结脊椎和胸骨的浮肋。胸骨背面前部中央有气管隆起,后部中央也常有气管隆起。龙骨突宽厚,前方有喙突,延长的气管在龙骨突(合喙突)内部盘曲,转弯3次后离开龙骨突入肺。左右锁骨下端愈合于龙骨突。一只丹顶鹤骨骼全重约623±114.4g。

STUDY ON SKELETON OF THE REDCROWNED CRANE

The vertebral formula of the Red-crowned Crane is C_(18)T_9(L+S+C_y)_(14-15)C_(y7). The transverse processes of the cervical vertebra, slender osseous needle extend backwards reaching the posterior end of the centrum. On both sides of cervical vertebra and the back of thoracic vertebrae there are some irregular ossified tendons, connecting the centrums together. The degree of fusion among the thoracic vertebrae is lower. Eight paris of rib take part in the thorax. After the last pair of ribs, there is also a pair of free rib, which does not connect with the vertebra and sternum. There is a dorsal trachea protuberance in the centre of the anterior part of the sternum, and in the posterior too. The carina sterni is very wide and thick, before which there is a rostrum, inside them there is a trachea which bends three times, then from carina sterni goes to the lung. The lower part of the clavicles are merged with the carina sterni. The weight of the whole skeleton of a Red-crowned crane is about 623g.
