四种药物对雏鸡白痢病的预防试验

雏鸡白痢病是由沙门氏杆菌引起的一种传染病。通常我们应用(?)喃唑酮或抗生素作药物预防,但结果往往不太理想。本试验应用磺胺—6—甲氧嘧啶(DS—36),磺胺甲基异恶唑(TMP—SMZ),磺胺喹恶林(TMP—SQ)呋喃唑酮四种药物进行预防雏鸡白痢比较试验。所有试验鸡随机分为五组,其中一组不用药作为对照组。另外四组鸡从1日龄到12日龄分别服用DS—36TMP—SME,TMP—SQ和呋喃唑酮四种药物。根据发病率和个体增重的平均值来比较试验结果。试验结果表明,在这四种药物中TMP—SQ预防效果明显,而DS—36和TMP—SME比呋喃唑酮效果好。

STUDIES ON PREVENTING TEST OF PULLORUM DISEASE BY FOUR DRUGS

Pullorum disease is caused by Salmonella (S.pullorum and S.gallinarum).Usually we use furazolidone or antibiotics for preventing this disease, but most of the results are not too clear. The present study was undertaken to evaluate the preventing ability of four bifferent drugs for pullorum disease, which are sulfamonomethoxine (DS-36) ,trimethoprin/sulamethoxazole (TMP-SMZ) , trimethoprin / sulfaquinoxaline (TMP-SQ) and furazlidone.All experimental birds were randomized into five groups, one group was not treated as control, another four group chickens took TMP-SMZ, TMP-SQ and furazlidone, respectively, from one day to 12-day of age.The preventing ability was evaluated by moubidity and body weight. The result indicates that TMP-SQ is the most effective in the drugs, and that DS-36 and TMP-SMZ are more effective than furazolidone.
