| Abstract: | Changes of water status, activited oxygen metabolism, photosynthesis, endoge-nous hormones and polyamines, and ultrastructure of mesophyll cells under water stress in maize were reported in this paper. The relationship between the above-mentioned criteria and maize drought resistance was summarized- But some questions existed and need to be studied farther. |
