An Analysis of the Traction Performance of the Bronze Chariots and Horses from Qinshihuang's Tomb

By analyzing the relationship of horse harnessing and the force received by the chariot,and by discussing the influences of the central gravity position,the traction angle and the shaft design on the traction performance of bronze chariot,it is shown that the design of the Bronze Chariots and Horses from Qinshihuang's Tomb is in accordance with the principle of mechanics.
