保存和维持家畜遗传多样性是畜牧业生产的重要内容和目标，我们不仅要定义出濒危家畜品种的标准，而且要对其特殊症状予以观察和了解，同时，应对家畜遗传多样性保存的动机和方法进行探讨，遗传资源的原位（ｓｉｔｕ）及移位（ｅｘ－ｓｉｔｕ）保存是一项综合的技术体系，其中生物技术发挥着重要作用，最后，介绍德国现已形成的家畜遗传资源保存的基本观点。

Strategies and Possibilities for the Preservation and Utilizationg of Special,Endangered Farm Animal Population

Preservation and maintenance of genetic diversity is an important obligation in animal husbandry.General criteria of extinction danger are outlined as well as specific symptoms to be observed in endangered animal breeds,Motivation and methods for the preservation of genetic diversity in farm animals are listed and discussed.In situ-and ex situ preservation of genetic resources have to ne applied in integrated system of maintaining endangered animal breeds.Biotechnology procedures bear important potentials in this respect.Finally,a concept for the preservation of animal genetic resources in Germany is presented.
