| Abstract: | The current situation of forest plantation in Sichuan is discussed in this paper. Furthermore the opportunity and challenge, with which plantation is confronted, is elucidated in detail. It is pointed out that plantation should be cultivated under the guidance of sustainable development theory, and the following means must be enforced: the reform and innovation of forestry economic system, the application of science and technology, the classification management for ecology forest system and industry forest system. And some advice is put forward to improve the quality of plantation. |
