雅南猪(南河系)母猪生殖器官及生殖机能发育初步观察

<正> 关于母猪生殖器官发育及排卵规律的研究,国内外已有一些报道,但四川雅南猪的有关材料还未见报道,本试验是根据《我国主要地方猪种质特性测定》的任务进行的,其目的是为这一地方良种猪的繁育工作提供科学依据。

A PRELIMINARY OBSERVATION ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE REPRODUCTIVE ORGANS AND THE SEXUAL FUNCTION OF YA-NAN GILTS AND SOWS

This paper deals mainly with the development of the reproductive organs and the sexual function of the gilts and sows of the Ya-nan breed. 72 animals at different ages were examined in this investigation by anatomic and histologic methods in Yaan, Sichuan. The results of this investigation show that the primary follicles were found in the ovaries of the gilts at 1 day of age and the primary growing follicles at the age of 30 days. The mature corpus hemorrhagicum and old corpus albicans were found first in the ovaries of the gilts when 120 days old, and the first swelling and reddened appearance of valvae of the young gilts when 61—68days old. Thus this breed seemed to have arrived at puberty about 90 days old. The average ovulation rates of 7-month-old gilts and 3-year-old sows were 10.4 and 13.3 eggs respectively. The results mentioned above indicate that the young gilts of the Ya-nan breed were earlier in sexual maturity than most of the other breeds.
