彰显区域特色 服务地方农业——《广西热带农业》办刊实践

广西热区面积较大，热带农业资源相对丰富，《广西热带农业》期刊的办刊资源具有比较优势。刊物主要以体现广西自然资源优势的木薯、金花茶、澳洲坚果等特色农业，获奖的特色良种和实用型优新技术和热区罕见的自然灾害等为重点选题，彰显刊物的区域特色。刊物凭借历年沉积的作者资源优势和国家大力扶持“三农”的产业政策，以及热区农业科技创新成果的大量涌现，为热带农业产业的进一步开发壮大和可持续发展提供科技支撑，同时也扩大了刊物的社会影响力。

The Guuangxi Tropical Agriculture Journal: Base for tropical and subtropical agricultural research promotion

Located in the southern part of the country, being largely subtropical, Guangxi has diversified climatic regions including the short coastline, mountainous regions and some tropical area. The agricultural resources in Guangxi include the main crops of rice, maize, sweet potatoes, cassava and wheat. The major cash crops include sugar cane, peanuts and tobacco. Being the first joumal of its kind in China, the Guangxi Tropical agriculture Journal has characterized its getup by including the research and development not only in various crops but also in related industries. Its issues are the major source for literature related to recent development in new agricultural technologies, development of new varieties and a deep interrogation of physio-biochemical and molecular techniques related to various crops that provides a science and technological base for tropical and sub-tropical agriculture related industries.
