| Abstract: | A new record of the discomycetes named Ciboria betulae (Woronin) White, which was collected respectively from the Altai Mountain and the Tianschan Mountain in Xinjiang in 1964, is reported in this paper. This fungus only parasitizes the seeds of birch and makes them lose their viability. The distribution, life history and habitat of the fungus are discribed in detail. |
