我国热带草业科学本科专业人才培养和办学思考

基于我国热带和亚热带草地资源及草业发展状况，初步探讨了当前我国在农业产业结构战略调整，加入WTO及西部大开发退耕还草生态重建的新形势下，热带草业科学专业人才培养面临的机遇、挑战及对策，提出我校草业科学本科专业办学方向及课程教学体系的构建。

Running Higher Education System for Undergraduates of Pratacultural Science and Talent Training

In view of grassland and forage resources in tropical and subtropical areas in China under the new circumstances brought about by China's agricultural structure adjustment, its entry into WTO and its measure of returning farmland to grassland in West China development for ecological environment improvement and reconstruction, this paper probes into the opportunities and challenges that pratacultural science faces in training talents and the possible countermeasures which it can take, and puts forward suggestions concerning the orientation for running a higher education system for undergraduates of pratacultural science and constructing the system of curriculums in South China University of Tropical Agriculture.
