红壤旱地玉米两季覆盖的抗旱效应研究

摘    要:本文论述了红壤旱地双季玉米种植制中就地解决旱季覆盖材料的可能性及覆盖的抗旱保墒效应。研究表明,以竹豆和早玉米稿秆分别作为伏、秋旱期间的覆盖材料是可行的。在两季覆盖下,玉米年增产率平均为6.9%。覆盖的保水效应:玉米封行前表现明显,每次降水(或灌溉)后,均可提高土壤抗旱能力5~7天。在此期间内能增加土壤含水量0.4%~0.8%;玉米封行后,覆盖有利于保蓄阵性降水,但对防止土壤水分蒸发损耗作用甚微。

Drought-Resistant Effect of Double-Season Mulch on Corn in Red Soil Upland
Abstract:The paper deals with possibility of producing mulch within the field and the effect of mulch on drought resistance of doulc-harvest corn in red soil upland. The experimental results indicated that it is practical to use straw of bamboo-bean as mulch for early corn in dry season of summer, and straw of early corn as mulch for late corn in dry season of autumn, Double-season mulch could hold soil water and enhance soil drought resistance apparently. The average annual corn yield increased by 6.9%. Before the canopy of corn leaves, the capacity of soil drought resistance from each rain (or irrigation ) was prolonged for 5-7 days by mulch. And the soil water content increased by 0.4-0.8% during this period. When corn leaves have canopied, mulch was good for the retaining of spatter rainfall, though it could hardly prevent the evaporation loss of soil water.
