摘    要:以印度洋黄鳍金枪鱼渔业为例,应用Grainger和Garcia提出的年渔获量相对增长率(RRCI)的概念,估算其最大可持续产量(MSY)近似值,并与利用其它方法估算的结果进行比较。研究结果表明,当RRCI=O时,印度洋黄鳍金枪鱼渔业MSY近似值为33.75t,比PeUa—Tomlinson模型的预测结果低3%。用本文方法只需计算年渔获量相对增长率,即可获得MSY的近似值,因此本方法可作为对常规评估模型方法的有益补充。

Abstract:Estimation of the maximum sustainable yield (MSY) is very important in fish stock assessment and management, but the MSY can not often be estimated from the incomplete catch data of commercial fisheries. The MSY was calculated on the data of yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacares) fishery in the Indian Ocean by the yearly relative rate of catch increment (RRCI) proposed by Grainger and Garcia and compared with the results obtained from the other methods. The MSY for yellowfin tuna fishery was found to be 33.75 × 10^4 t when yearly RRCI equals zero, 3% lower than the MSY estimated through Pella and Tomlinson model. Our results supported the fact that a rough MSY can be obtained by this method as a useful supplementary tool to conventional stock assessment models by calculating RRCI.
