| Abstract: | The observation of mantle cells of Haliotis discus with electron miscroscope indicates that there are two kinds of cells in apicuticle; columar cells and cells with piles of mitochondria and there are four kinds of cells in subcuticle; columnar cells,cells with mitochondria,cells withlarge secretory granular of cytoplasm and cells having electronic density of cytoplasm.On the apicalsurface of all kinds of cells there are microvilla,secrtetory vac-uoles and granulars.All cells have secretory and absorptive functions,besides fibfoblasts and granular cells in connective tissue,there are myofibfil,collagenous fibril and unmyeli-nated fibers. |
