| Abstract: | A new refined method of the geometric stiffness matrix in the analysis of finite element for stability of the thin plate has been developed. The numerical examples are given to demonstrate that the present method possesses higher accuracy of the critical load, higher calculation efficiency and higher ability to solve the critical load of uniform shear. |
