| Abstract: | The paper discusses the limitation and defects of evaluating lodging-re-sistance in crop populations. It proposes the Lodging Index, a new synthetic indication for measuring loding-resistance of populations in crops,on the basis of standardized lodging score and percentage in order to solve these problems. It gives procedures and methods for calculating this index and examples are presented to go further into this concept and its implications. , |
