放牧羊钴缺乏症的调查报告

取某牧场干瘦、面部被毛粘结、流泪的病羊30只,进行血液学和血液生化检查。结果发现:羊只血红细胞总数、血红蛋白含量均低于正常值,红细胞指数中平均红细胞血红蛋白含量(MCH)及平均红细胞体积(MCV)增加,平均红细胞血红蛋白浓度(MCHC)变化不大,可诊断为正细胞性贫血;血液白细胞总数明显减少,血糖含量低于正常值。血清中铁、铜含量正常,而血清中钴含量极显著低于正常值(P<0.01),毛中铁、铜含量正常。对牧场自然环境调查检测发现,土壤中铁、钴足够,铜边缘缺乏,牧草中钴边缘缺乏。对得出的数据进行综合分析,可初步诊断为该牧场羊只患有慢性钴缺乏症。

Investigation Report of Cobalt Deficiency in Grazing Sheep

Thirty sheep in a farm with weakness, illthrift and matted wool were selected to determine the haematological and biochemical changes. The results showed that values of Hb, RBC in the sheep were lower than normal sheep whereas the values of MCH, MCV were higher but MCHC was not changed. The tested sheep was diagnosed as anaemia.The number of WBC and glucose level were low in the blood of the ill sheep, the levels of Cu and Fe in serum were adequate but level of cobalt in serum of ill sheep was significantly lower ( P < 0.01) compared with nomal value.The Cu and Fe contents of wool was in normal range. The results of element survey of pasture indicated that the Fe, Co contents of soils were adequate whereas the Cu content of soils and the Co content in forage were marginal to low. From above analysis, sheep grazing on this pasture were firstly diagnosed as chronic disease resulting from cobalt deficiency.
