‘粤糖91-976’的选育及在甘蔗育种中的利用效果

‘粤糖91-976’是广州甘蔗糖业研究所从‘粤农73-204’בCP67-412’杂交组合后代中选育而成的甘蔗新品种,其主要特点是高产、稳产,宿根性和抗逆性强,中大茎,萌芽快、齐,萌芽率高,分蘖性好。此外,该品种作为亲本花粉量多、活力强、配合力强、后代性状表现突出。家系评价分析显示,‘粤糖91-976’具有较高的经济育种值,其亲本和杂交组合选择指导意义较大。近10年来,全国各育种单位利用‘粤糖91-976’作为亲本进行杂交,共配制组合442个,花穗961穗,并选育出通过国家或省审定的甘蔗新品种5个‘福农39号’‘福农41号’‘桂糖30号’‘桂糖32号’和‘桂糖34号’。‘粤糖91-976’是海南甘蔗育种场自主创制的优异重要亲本,在甘蔗育种中利用效果显著。

Breeding of Sugarcane YT91-976 and Its Utilization in Sugarcane Breeding

Sugarcane YT 91-976 is a new variety which is bred by Guangzhou Sugarcane Industry Research Institute from the hybrid progeny of cross YN 73-204 CP67-412. It is high and stable in yield, high in ratooning ability and resistance, medium/big in stalk, fast and uniform in germination, high in sprouting rate, and better in tillering ability. This variety, when used as a parent, had a large number of pollen with strong vitality and combining ability, and its progeny gave outstanding performance. The family evaluation of this variety showed that the sugarcane YT 91-976 has a high economic breeding value, and its parents and hybrid combinations are of great significance. In the past ten years, sugarcane YT 91-976 has been used as the parent for crossing by numerous breeding institutions to produce 442 combinations and 961 flower tassels, from which 5 new sugarcane varieties, i.e. FN 39, Funong 41, GT 30, GT 32 and GT 34 were bred and have been approval by the national or provincial variety evaluation committees. Sugarcane YT91-976 is an excellent parent bred by the Hainan Sugarcane Breeding Station, and has a significant effect on sugarcane breeding.
