| Abstract: | The development of molecular biology, especially the technology of tissue culture and genetic transformation offers a good opportunity for turfgrass breeding. Materials are reviewed about turfgrass tissue culture and its genetic transformation. The explants, the regeneration systems and transformation methods are compared. Problems and prospects of turfgrass tissue culture and its genetic transformation are also discussed. |
