我国热带农产品质量安全问题与对策

我国热带农产品质量安全问题已成为制约我国热区经济发展的主要问题之一。从分析我国热带农产品质量安全存在的问题出发,提出了提高热带农产品质量安全水平的一系列对策和建议。

Products Quality Safety Issues and Improvement Strategies for Tropical Agriculture in China

Quality safety of tropical agricultural produce has become one of the bottlenecks for economic development in tropical China. Problems of products quality safety in tropical agricultural sector in the country are mainly pollution from pesticides, particularly heavy metals and chemical fertilizers in the production process, and higher residues from preservatives and packing materials in post-harvest handling process. Incapability of institutions in products quality safety inspection and examination as well as the lacking of strict market entrance permit are believed to be the major causes of the problems in addition to poor awareness of various stakeholders. Some recommendations for the solving of the problems are made, including extension of standard production process, acceleration of product and food quality safety standard system, development of new materials as alternatives for agro-chemicals, further development of product quality safety inspection, examination and accrediting system, enforcement of market entrance permit, completing market service system, establishing of quality safety tracking system, and quality safety awareness improvement through training and media education.
