| Abstract: | Three development stages of living environment design in China were summarized,characteristics in different stages introduced,and suggestions given in view of specific problems.It was proposed that design of modern living environment should be harmonious with the whole environment,innovative spirits and creative designs highlighted in the living environment,regional characteristics,historic and cultural succession valued. |
