石榴皮鞣质的长期毒性研究

目的]观察石榴皮鞣质长期给药对大鼠产生的毒性反应。方法]将80只供试大鼠随机分为4组，每组分别以0.3，0.9，1.5g/kg石榴皮鞣质连续对试验大鼠灌胃给药4周并设空白对照，末次给药24h后每组活杀一半大鼠，另一半停药后继续观察2周，分别测试大鼠体重、血液学、血液生化学、脏器系数及病理组织学变化。结果]石榴皮鞣质3个剂量组与对照组比较无明显的毒性。结论]石榴皮鞣质在上述剂量下连续服用4周是安全的。

Study on the Long-term Toxicity of Tannin in Punica granatum L.

Objective] The research aimed to study the long-term toxicity of tannin in Punica granatum L.on rats.Method] 80 rats were randomly divided into 4 groups,each group were given tannin in dose of 1.5、0.9 or 0.3 mg/kg for 4 weeks.Half of animals were killed immediately after last dose 24 h and another half of rats were observed for 2 weeks after medicine withdraw,and blank control group was designed.Body weight,hematology blood biochemistry,organ index and histopathological changes were examined.Result] The results showed that there was no obvious toxicity compared with control.Conclusion] Tannin in Punica granatum L.should be safe in its clinical use with the recommended dosage.
