Abstract:Analysis of representative samples of brown earth, cinnamon soil and meadow soil, the main cultivated soils in Shandong Province, showed a remarkable difference in the compositions of inorganic P. The content of inorganic P was above 80% of the total P in the soil samples tested, with Ca-P being the main fraction of inorganic P in cultivated meadow soil and cinnamon soil. The contents of Al-P, Fe-P and O-P in cinnamon soil and brown earth were greater than that in cultivated meadow soil. P-supplying in cinnamon soil and brown earth was better than that in cultivated meadow soil. After fixation of soluble phosphate, in cultivated meadow soil the increasing amounts of easier exchangeable P and Ca-P were greater than that of other P forms. In cinnamon soil and brown earth, the amounts of Ca-P, Al-P and Fe-P increased significantly.
