茶业经济与近代祁门社会变迁

晚清民国时期,祁门商人普遍经营茶叶贸易,茶业经济盛况空前。随着茶业经济的兴盛,祁门县经济、文化、风俗等各方面发生重大变化,加快了社会变迁的步伐。茶叶贸易的兴盛,促使一些村镇兴起;也引起了县域境内人们的服饰、村落建筑和民居建筑向实用化演变等社会生活的变化;茶农在生产实践中还创造出了采茶歌、采茶戏等艺术形式,这些民间艺术极大地丰富了广大民众的日常生活。20世纪40年代后,随着茶叶贸易的衰落,祁门县失去了赖以发展的经济基础,社会转型的进程明显延缓,乃至趋于停滞。

On the Correlation between Tea Economy and Social Transition in Modern Qimen

During the period of later Qing and the Republic of China, the tea economy in Qi- men County had developed unprecedentedly because local businessmen generally operated the tea trade. With the rise of tea industry, some significant changes had happened on the econo- my, culture and custom of Qimen which accelerated the social transition. The flourish of teatrade also stimulated the rise o{ some villages, including people＇s costume and villages＇ ar- chitecture. The tea peasants had also created new artistic styles of songs and dramas reflec- ting tea leaves picking, which greatly enriched the local＇s daily lives. After the 1940s, as the decadency of tea trade, Qimen lost its economic base for development, which had signif- icantly delayed social transition and even caused stagnation in Qimen County.
