民国时期新疆玛纳斯河流域的农业生产

玛纳斯河流域地处新疆天山北麓中段,位于新疆天山北坡综合经济带的中心地段,是新疆农业发展的核心地带之一。玛纳斯河流域真正意义上的农业开发始于清朝乾隆中期统一新疆之后。民国时期,玛纳斯河流域作为新疆战略要地,成为历次战乱的争夺焦点之一。流域屯垦和农业开发也经历了多次起伏,在水利建设和农牧业生产方面得到一定的发展,为新中国成立以来的玛纳斯河流域社会经济的发展奠定了重要基础。

On the Agriculture in the Manasi River Valley of Xinjiang in the Time of the Republic of China

The Manasi River valley lies in the middle part of the northern side of Tianshan Mountain in Xinjiang,which is the central area of the comprehensive economic belt of Northern slope of Tianshan and one of the core belts of agricultural development in Xinjiang.The concrete agricultural development in the Manasi river valley began in the middle Qianlong Reign when Xinjiang came under the Qing rule.During the time of Republic of China,the Manasi River Valley became a strategic focus for military competitions.Open-up-wasteland farming and agricultural development in the river valley underwent ups and downs.Some progress was made in water irrigation projects and animal husbandry.Thus,important foundation was laid for later social-economic development in the Manasi River valley after 1949.
