清初，云南还处于人多地少的阶段。随着内地人口的不断发展，涌入云南的移民也逐渐增多。移民在云南从事矿冶业、农业和商业，在繁荣云南的同时，也给当地的生态带来了损害。过度垦殖和矿毒对生态的危害非常大。如何平衡移民与当地经济的发展，是历史给我们的启示。
