新兴媒体既对社会主义意识形态的建设带来机遇，同时也存在着挑战。新疆意识形态建设具有跨境性、宗教性、民族性的鲜明特点，其安全受到各种境内外因素的影响，应当积极利用新兴媒体加强社会主义主流意识形态在新疆各族民众中的号召力、整合力，打击以“三股势力”为代表的分裂意识形态的渗透，确保新疆意识形态的安全。
