Learning from the Development of Forestry Science and Technology in Garden Construction

With the development of cities and the enhancement of the consciousness of protecting the ecology environment, many countries pay much attention to the development of forestry science and technology and garden construction. Eight aspects of the development of forestry science and technology in 21 century were discussed in the paper. It was made up of the starting of near natural forestry theory and the ecology forestry theory, the further development of forest cultivation, the breaking-through of the forestry biological technology, forest ecology and environment research, preventing and controlling desertification, the technology development of forest plant disease preventing and controlling, and the development of forest tourism. With the present development of gardening in China, it was concluded that garden construction ought to contact with the new development of forestry science and technology, and could use its results for reference.
