农业信息技术是农业信息化的重要特征和重要内容,政府和企业应该整合自身资源加大对农业信息技术的支持力度.首先给出了农业信息技术的定义,并从工业、农业与信息业三者关系的角度归纳了农业信息技术的作用.探讨了农业信息技术的体系分类,并按照开发层次将农业信息技术分为基础技术、共性技术和专有技术三类.根据公益品的"消费非竞争性"和"消费非排他性"两个特征,分别分析了农业信息基础技术、农业信息共性技术和农业信息专有技术的公益特征及其差异,并结合这些差异探讨了政府公共资金和企业资金对农业信息技术的支持方案.
