| 摘 要： | 边缘细胞是从根冠表面脱落下来并聚集在根部周围的一群特化细胞,对植物的生长和发育具有重要意义。从边缘细胞的特征、发育和生理功能等方面对植物边缘细胞的研究进行了综述,并对其发展前景进行了展望。

| Abstract: | Border cells, which shed from root cap and deposit in the periphery of roots, are some uniquely differentiated cells. They play crucial roles during the plant''s growth and development. This paper gives a summary of the progress of studies on characteristics of border cells, development of border cells and physiological functions. The prospect of the development of border cells has been forecasted. |
