台湾几丁质类产业研究发展的现况与展望

由于几丁质产品可应用在医药、化工、环保、食品、农业等领域 ,有人认为这种资源可能取代石化工业成为本世纪的重要产业。几丁质类物质目前用途最广的是保健食品领域 ,在各领域之应用全球市场每年至少有 1 9亿美元以上。台湾地区的产品几乎都来自岛外 ,1 995年进口值约为台币 2亿左右 ,营业额推估每年在台币 7～ 9亿元 ,且逐年在快速成长之中 ,目前原料生产厂家有 3家 ,进口业界已超过 2 0家 ,本文仅就台湾几丁质类产业研究发展的现况与展望进行探讨。

Present condition and prospect of the chitin industry in Taiwan

Because the chitin can be utilized to the domains of the medicine, chemical industry, food and agriculture, the chitin resources could replace oil resource and will become the important industry in this century. At present, chitin is most widely used in the healthy food production, the sales in all over the world malkets added up to at least 19 hundred millions U.S. dollars every year. Taiwan's chitin product imported almost from out, only 1995 the value of imports was 2 hundred millions N.T. dollars, the trade presumed would be 7～9 hundred millions N.T. dollars and grew fast every year. Taiwan has now 3 raw materials factories and over 20 importers.
