纽曼的知识观研究

摘    要:随着人类社会步入知识经济时代,大学被誉为人类社会发展的“动力站”。什么是知识?怎样有效地获取知识变得日趋重要。纽曼的知识观对于如今深陷功利狂潮的高等教育理论和实践都具有重要的借鉴意义。本文拟从三个方面对纽曼的知识观进行探讨;知识本身即为目的;知识与理智的辩证关系:知识为扩展理智的必要条件;理智为使知识系统化、条理化、概括化的必要条件;知识获取:同化、顺应,沟通、交流,自我教育。

Abstract:With human society's stepping into knowledge economic time,university is eulogized as "power station"of human society's development.What is knowledge and how to grasp knowledge effectively are becoming more and more important.The knowledge standpoint of John Henry Newman has a great significance to nowday's higher education theory and practice that sink deeply into utility turbulent.The paper is about to study standpoint of John Henry Newman from 3 aspects: What is knowledge:knowledge is its own aim;The The relationship between knowledge and intellect:knowledge is the indispensable condition to develop intellect and intellect is the indispensable condition to systematize,organize and summarise knowledge;How to obtain knowledge:assimilation,accommodation,communication,educate on one's own.
