数量性状基因座与动物育种

近年来随着现代分子生物学的发展 ,一些高效的分子遗传标记将各种畜禽的遗传图谱研究推向深入。为将复杂的数量性状分解为多个数量性状基因座进行定位分析 ,提供了研究单个基因特性的手段 ,为动物育种从数量性状的表型操作深入到基因型操作奠定了基础。本文就有关数量性状基因座的理论、基因图谱的构建、QTL的定位以及QTL与动物育种的关系展开了论述。

Quantitative Trait Locus (QTL) and Animal Breeding

With the fast development of modern molecular biology ,the study on genetic maps of animals is developed further by the application of some effective genetic markers, which provides a method to analize the speciality of every single gene, make it possible to locate the specific gene after separating the complicated quantitative traits into many simple QTL,and lay foundation for animal breeding reseach from phenotype to genotype. This article discusses the theory on QTL, the construction of genetic map, QTL mapping and the relationship between QTL and animal breeding.
