The Situation and Strategies of Plant Protection of Xinjiang in Twenty-first Century

Faced with twenty-first century, more attention should be given to intensification of plant protection in Xinjiang with quarantine, technology of forecasting and monitoring, technology of biological and ecological control etc.. According to analysis of geographical location of Xinjiang, trend of increasingly demand of international market for different products of good quality,the plant protection in Xinjiang is being faced with the severe challenge.Defense system of plant protection must be established gradually to guarantee sustainable development of argricuture in Xinjiang.
