东大河林区是祁连山水源涵养林区的重要组成部分,对维护金昌市的生态安全和社会经济环境的可持续发展具有非常重要的作用。通过对东大河林区森林植被的调查,总结了建国以来东大河林区造林、封山育林、森林培育取得的成果,提出了东大河林区植被保育的基本模式。
