| Abstract: | The opportunities and challenges from west area development and economic environment at home and abroad in new century were analyzed in this paper.The particularity of contradiction in west area economic development was revealed and basic contents and demands of bring forth new ideas in west area development were expounded. Main countermeasures and suggestions for implementing west area development were put forward. |
