| Abstract: | The application of Zophobas morio powder in Penaeus vannamei larva feed was studied. The Penaeus vannamei larvae were fed with different proportions ofZophobas morio protein powder and fish meal （ 1 ： 1, 1 ： 2 and 1 ： 3, as formula 1, 2, and 3 ） for 12 days. The growth performance, water quality changes and the nonspecific immunity indexes （ SOD, CAT, ACP and AKP） were determined at the end of the experiment.The results show that feeding the Penaeus vannamei larvae with different proportions of Zophobas morio powder and fish meal could promote the growth, and the best promotive effect was observed in the formula 1 （ 1 ： 1 ） . The activities ofACP, AKP, SOD and CAT were improved in different degree. There was no significant difference on the water quality. So, as a partial substitute for fish meal, the Zophobas morio protein powder is a good source of animal protein in Penaeus vannamei larva feed. |
