Major categories and implementation process of E-government

As e-commerce matures and its tools and applications improve,greater attention is being given to its use to improve the business of public institutions and governments.E-Government is the use of information technology in general,and e-commerce in particular,to provide citizens and organizations with more convenient access to government information and services and to provide delivery of public services to citizens,business partners,and those working in the public sector.The major categories and implementation process of E-Government is discussed in this paper.
