| Abstract: | Objective To observe the arrhythmia and heart rate variability（HRV） in advanced aged inpatients.Methods The arrhythmia and time domain indexes of HRV were analyzed in 121 inpatients aged 75 or more including 22 hypertensions,51 coronary heart diseases（CHD）,19 complications of CHD,and 29 controls in the department of cardiovascular diseases.Results High risk premature ventricular contraction（PVC） only occurred in patients with hypertension and CHD.Standard deviation of all normal-to-normal intervals（SDNN） and triangular index of HRV decreased significantly in patients with complications of CHD and high risk PVC,but triangular index in male patients was lower than that in female ones.Conclusion The advanced aged patients with CHD are more susceptible to high risk PVC and reduction of HRV indexes. |
