| Abstract: | Systematic studies on metabolites of nitrogen,sugar and soluble protein were made in cottonsowed or transplanted after wheat harvesting and transplanted cotton interplanted with wheat,during thewhole growth period.The metabolites of sugar and nitrogen of cotton transplanted after wheat harvesting were similar tothose of transplanted cotton interplanted with wheat.Metabolites of cotton sowed after wheat harvesting were more vigorous than those of transplanted cot-ton,during the whole growth period while the efficiency of usage of sugar was somewhat lower.Transferringof nitrogen metabolite to sugar metabolite was delayed. |
