抑制玉米象种群的植物样品筛选研究

以玉米象为试虫,对采自西北五省区的92科444种植物样品进行室内生物活性筛选,选出64种对玉米象种群有抑制作用的样品.其中大籽蒿、木地肤、(木岺)叶槭、葎草、烟管头、蓖麻、紊蒿、日本菟丝子、角果碱蓬、沙地柏、石榴、华北珍珠梅、野苜蓿等14种植物样品的抑制效果达80%以上,有一定的直接利用价值和进一步深入研究的必要.这几种高效植物样品对试虫均无明显接触和熏蒸杀虫作用,其作用方式和作用机理有待于进一步探讨.

SCREENING STUDIES ON INSECTICIDAL PLANTS INHIBITING POPULATION FORMATION OF SITOPHILUS ZEAMAIS MOTS.

The bioactivities of 444 species of insecticidal plants collected from northwestern China were tested with Sitophilus zeamais Mots. in the laboratory. The laboratory tests showed that 64 species of the 444 plant samples had inhibiting effectiveness to the population formation of S. zeamais. Stronger effects were obtained from the samples of the following plants: Artemisia sieversiana, Kochia prostrata, Acer negundo, Humulus scandens, Carpesium cernuum, Ricinus communis, Artemisia intricata, Cuscuta japonica, Atriplex patens, Suaeda corniculata, Sabina vulgaris, Punica granatum, Sorbaria kirilowii, Medicago falcata. Each of the plant samples showed a more than 80% inhibiting efficacy to the test insect population formation. Their contact and fumigant toxicity to the test insect were not observed in our experiments. These plant materials, because of their low cost, local availability, safty to human beings and environment, may be developed and used to prevent grain, seeds and forages in store from insect attack.
