| Abstract: | This paper briefly introduced the present situation of transgenic cotton breeding in Xinjiang province, where is one of the major cotton production area in China. Field performace of transgenic cotton cultivated in Xinjiang and exiting problems were analysed and compared, and also the objectives of Xinjiang transgenic cotton breeding and how to speed up the breeding progress has been put forward in this paper. |
