Ecological Conservation and Improvement for China’s Farmlands

在对国内外农田生态保育现状与研究进展分析的基础上,提出中国农田生态保育的新观念,其基本内涵包括基本农田保护、农田基础设施与条件建设、农田防污治污体系构建和生物多样性保育等;讨论了该领域的若干重大问题,揭示出相关重要科学问题;提出了“藏粮于田”战略及其基本对策。

Ecological Conservation and Improvement for China's Farmlands

On the basis of a study on circumstances and scientific research to the quality and ecological maintenance of farmland both in China and abroad, the new concept, Ecological Conservation and Improvement for China' s Farmlands, was put forward. The meaning of the concept was integrated with protection of essential farmland, preservation for basic productivity of farmland, construction of basal establishment in farmland and improvement of ambient environment, conservation of biodiversity, and so on. Several important issues were discussed and significant scientific problems related were brought forward. Furthermore, a strategy, Storing Grain in Farmland, and its countermeasures concerned were advanced.
