为了筛选适宜于小麦品种抗旱性鉴定的方法和指标，笔者概述了小麦抗旱性的概念、类型和鉴定原理，对多种抗旱鉴定方法和评价指标进行了比较分析，阐述了小麦品种抗旱鉴定的特点和要求，确定小麦全生育期旱棚鉴定法和抗旱指数是最适宜于抗旱育种和区试工作采用的综合性鉴定方法和评价指标
