果实硬度计评定鲜食玉米果皮柔嫩度的可行性

摘    要:以品尝法为对照,用果实硬度计法获得3种不同胚乳基因型鲜食玉米的36个自交系的果皮硬度计嫩度值。按胚乳基因型对自交系的果皮硬度计嫩度进行方差分析,进而剖析果皮硬度计嫩度与果皮口感嫩度的相关性,探讨果实硬度计定量评定鲜食玉米果皮柔嫩度的可行性。结果表明,果实硬度计能区分果皮柔嫩度存在差异的材料;在2007年秋和2008年春两次试验中,普甜玉米材料的果皮硬度计嫩度与口感嫩度的相关系数分别为0.64、0.66,超甜玉米的为0.63、0.77,均达显著或极显著水平,糯玉米的为0.36、0.39,未达显著水平。由此可见,果实硬度计能够定量评定甜玉米的果皮柔嫩度,但不能评定糯玉米的果皮柔嫩度。

Abstract:The pericarp tenderness of 36 inbred lines ascribed to three endosperm genotypes of fresh corn was assessed by fruit hardness meter(FHM),with eating as check.According to endosperm genotype,analysis of variance on FHM tenderness was performed.Furthermore,correlation analysis between FHM tenderness and eating tenderness was conducted,the feasibility of evaluating pericarp tenderness of fresh corn with FHM was investigated.The results showed that 36 inbred lines with different pericarp tenderness could be distinguished by FHM.In the two trials implemented in the autumn of 2007 and in the spring of 2008,respectively,the correlation coefficient between FHM tenderness and eating tenderness were 0.64* and 0.66* for common sweet corn(su1),0.63* and 0.77** for super sweet corn(sh2),and 0.36 and 0.39 for waxy corn.The significant correlation between FHM tenderness and tasting tenderness were observed for sweet corn with su1 and sh2 endosperm genotype,and no significant correlation was observed for waxy corn.Conclusively,FHM could be used to evaluate the pericarp tenderness of sweet corn.However,it was impracticable to distinguish different pericarp tenderness for waxy corn.
